Begin with the length and nature of a typical session. A phone booth is a useful starting point for brief calls; a seated focus pod is worth considering when someone needs a desk-based setup for a longer task. These are use-led descriptions, not universal performance standards. Compare the actual work surface, chair space and configuration rather than relying on a category name alone.

Make room for your real equipment

Take a laptop and any accessories to a demonstration where possible. Check the working height, room for your legs, the position of the camera and whether the screen can be used comfortably.
